Anna B. (5/5)

work fast

"I purchased this scent to try something new. I had everything working well until I added the fragrant oil, it seized immediately and had to scoop it into the mold. The scent itself is nice but will not purchase again."

Linda (3/5)

Good but not excellent

"I was hoping for a stronger fragrance. It is nice but but not great. Fragrance behaved well in the batter. Nothing out of the ordinary. Pleasant in the finished product."

Kathy (4/5)

Great Combination

"This is the perfect blend of cucumber and mint. Neither scent overpowers the other!"

Karen (5/5)

TERRIBLE!!!

"10 seconds after I added to my oils and butters. . . it seized up and hardened into a BRICK!!!! I wish I could share a picture!A BIG waste of money!!!!!!"

Garnett (1/5)

Love it!

"Used in CP raw goat milk soap, no water. Perfect pour! My customers that like the cucumber melon are going to LOVE this. I didn't use any vanilla stabilizer and it discolored a little but that could be the milk too. Also used in lanolin lotion bars it doesn't take much to ""cover"" the lanolin smell."

Korie (5/5)

Inspiring fragrance

"Sometimes you smell a fragrance and you get inspired to make new products! This is one of those fragrances! Smells very fresh and the mint smells rich. Great fragrance!"

Andrea (5/5)

A personal favorite

"I love this scent a lot! I use in a cucumber soap letting the cucumbers naturally color and add its own healing effect. This one is great when I explain the process of the soap and that its my personal favorite. Sell a bar of it just about every other sale ;). Will keep Cold processing this one as long as its available!"

Draenix36 (5/5)

Nice fresh fragrance

"This scent worked very well in CP Soap. . . It does contain vanilla, but only a very light tan produced. . . no acceleration at all. Both the cucumber and mint scent come through. A very refreshing & clean scent. I would easily buy this in the future."

Q&A

I noticed that the IFRA guidelines for this fragrance in CP soap is 6.0%. I have a bottle of Cucumber Mint FO 15387 and the IFRA guidelines for that fragrance say 0.7% in CP soap. Why the big difference and is the 15387 still safe to use?
The amount of fragrance and base can hold and the IFRA amounts are different. Use the lower amount.
In your recomendations according IFRA says this fragance can be used at about 40% and more in lotions....are those numbers correct? 40% of fragance in a formula???
The IFRA recommendations are correct. They are stating this fragrance is safe up to 40%, which you would never use in a product. To research any fragrance, you first check the IFRA to be sure it is safe in your product. Next, you go to that product to see what is recommended. For our ready-to-use lotions, we recommend 2-4%. Here is a link to our Fragrance Calculator that is very helpful in determining the amount of fragrance to use: https://www.wholesalesuppliesplus.mom/calculators/FragranceCalculator.aspx
Can this be used for a facial soap? Thanks!
This fragrance can be used in a facial soap using your normal percentage of fragrance.
Can this oil be used in candles?
This fragrance can be used in candle wax. Please refer to your manufacturers recommendation for proper fragrance load. We recommend testing to be sure this is compatible with your candle wax.
