"Very soft & pleasant fragrance. I am looking for that 'In Your Face' smack of Eucalyptus. This was not it! I am giving a 3 star because it is good for blending which I did with a fragrance for a soft spa FO. I made a test candle with this Eucalyptus, using 464 soy, LX 24 wick & a 6 day cure. Not much CT or HT, but very pleasant in a powder room. I might just market this as an Odor Eliminator. It is definitely not a throw away. I did not try this in CP yet, but I will at a later date."

When your information says a fragrance oil can be used at 100%, what does that mean? I'm new to this, so I'm still learning melt and pour and candles. Thanks! Pat: The ‘fragrance load' or fragrance % is the manufacturers recommended maximum amount of fragrance that a particular wax can retain.For example, if you are making a 16 oz. candle with a wax that has a maximum 10% fragrance load, you could add up to 1.6 oz. (16 oz. * 10% = 1.6 oz.) of fragrance for that particular wax. While it is possible to add more fragrance than the manufacturers recommendation, this can lead to poor burning characteristics and/or the fragrance ‘seeping' from the candle creating the appearance of sweating.Many waxes available are pre-blended or contain additives enabling them to retain higher fragrance loads of up to 12%. There are certain waxes, such as straight paraffin wax, that have a lower maximum fragrance load of around 3% without the use of additional additives such as Vybar. We recommend beginning testing by using 1 oz. of fragrance to 1 lb. of wax. This equates to a fragrance load of approximately 6.3%.When calculating the fragrance load, al
I am experience trouble with certain fragrance oils in goats milk CP soaps. Can you tell me if this one behaves? If not, which ones do. Can this be used for candles ? If so what's the maximum usage ?: There are no restrictions in candles for this fragrance oil. You need to contact your wax manufacturer to see what the fragrance load is for your particular wax.
Does this contain any oils directly from the apple? Like can people who are alergic to apples use this?: Fragrance ingredients are all proprietary and trade secrets. Even though there would not be actual apple ingredients, we would not know if someone would have a reaction from just smelling something apple scented.
I'm still fairly new to making soap/body care products so maybe I'm confused about the use of fragrance oils? I noticed on the Green Apple fragrance and several others that people are leaving reviews about the use of it in Lip Care even though the Maximum Skin Exposure Level is 0.0%? I've seen this enough now that I'm wondering if in fact I CAN use this for chapstick. I thought it was only the flavor oils I could use? Any input on this would be appreciated.: While there are a few fragrance oils that are approved for use in lip products in small amounts, the IFRA guidelines MUST be followed above all else.
