Shark Bite Bath Soak Recipe

Cut 8 oz of Premium Tussah Silk Melt & Pour Soap Base into small cubes. Melt using short 30 second bursts in the microwave, stirring between each interval, until completely smooth. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.

Add 0.25 oz Ocean Waters Fragrance Oil and about 1 gram of the Black Knight Mica Powder, a small amount at a time, stirring until the soap reaches a dark gray color.

Line a small baking sheet or tray with parchment paper. Pour the melted soap onto the parchment, spreading it into an even layer approximately 1/8 inch thick. Lightly spritz the surface with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to eliminate bubbles. Allow the soap to cool completely until firm.

Remove the soap sheet from the parchment paper. Using a sharp knife or craft blade, cut out shark fin shapes in various sizes. You will need 12 larger fins for the top of each jar and 5-6 fins for the sides of eahc jar.

In a deep mixing bowl, combine 36 oz Epsom Salt, 6 oz Baking Soda, and 3 oz Citric Acid until evenly blended.

Mix 1 oz Ocean Waters Fragrance Oil and 1 oz Polysorbate 80 in a small mixing bowl. Slowly drizzle the Ocean Water Fragrance Oil over the salt mixture while continuously stirring.

Add 3-5 drops of Stained Glass Ocean Blue Liquid Color and stir until the color is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.

Fill each jar about 1/3 full. Add the small fins, pressing them slightly against the edges of the jars. Finish filling the jars.

Press one large shark fin flat into the center of each jar.

Wipe any excess salt from the jar rims and secure the lids tightly. Store in a cool, dry place until ready to use.
