What is the function of this liner and how does it differ from the press and seal liner?: The F217 liner is located in the top of the cap. This helps to provide a protective layer so lid has a tighter fit and helps to prevent leaking. It however does not seal to the lid of the jar or bottle like a press and seal liner would.
