Directions

Cut desired amount from the color bar and melt into warm soap base at 130-140 ºF. To color your product, start with small amount of color and increase as desired. Adding this color to white soap will produce a pastel colored bar. Adding this color to a clear base will produce a shimmering bright colored bar. Using too much color may cause staining. Test your final product to ensure optimal performance and no staining. Protect work areas and clothing when mixing.

I'm looking for red based Melt and pour? If I buy the red color block, will the soap run red when the customer uses it?: If you use a lot of the color bar, it can rub off onto a washcloth. When the soap is used, the bubbles should remain white. If not, too much color has been used.
I'm trying to get gauge how many of these blocks I will need for my purposes. Can you provide any information on the concentration of the NuTone color powder per color block so that I can calculate how much of this I will need? For example, if I generally add 2 grams of the NuTone color powder to my soap recipe, how many color blocks will I need to achieve the same color?: We cannot give specific information on how much powder is added to the color blocks. They are very concentrated. We do state on our website that one cube colors approximately 2 pounds of MP soap, depending on the desired shade.
