"Perfect size"
great large round mold
"Very sturdy and good quality mold. Gives soap a very crisp defined edge. Large size and great for dish or loofah soaps."
Round Basic Silicone Mold 1602
"I have made some really nice soap with this mold. I will also use this mold for different designs as well."
Great mold
"I have many of these molds. I use them primarily to make a peppermint charcoal salt soap. The soap releases easily from the mold and is a nice size. Good paired with the square soap boxes."
Perfect Size and Shape
"When trying a new batch of soap, I send out samples to my testers, and these are a perfect size for it. The 2 oz gives enough so one can test it thoroughly without giving away a full size product. It's very easy to pop the soaps out of the molds. I've put mine through the dishwasher before with no issues."
Makes Life Easy
"These silicone molds work very nicely in M&P soap. They unmold very easily and quickly. They save time and effort. I highly recommend these and the other silicone molds WSP offers."
This mold makes beautiful soaps!
"I sell a lot of M&P soap and this is my primary mold. It produces a beautiful disk of soap with perfectly smooth and glossy surfaces. 5-ounces is a large, impressive bar. It looks appealing, shows well and feels great to use in the shower. These molds are quite flexible, but can tear if you're too rough with them. I've had trouble with only 1 out of 5 molds, though."
Love these!
"Easily remove the soap. So versatile!"
Perfect circles
"This mold is so nice for smaller batches of soap. Six quick, perfect bars. Love the clean edges and easy removal."
Q&A
- What box!boxes would you recommend for this mold?
- The Soap Box with round window, or a box that is 3 x 3
- what is the shipping weight? or the weight of one mold? thank you
- Each mold weighs about 9 oz.
- How do I get the sandalwood scent out of my mold???
- We recommend soaking the mold with dawn dish soap and water. However, although scents tend to stick to molds the scent usually does not transfer to other batches of soap.
- Would this mold be sturdy enough for shampoo bars that have to be packed in tightly? Some silicone molds are flimsy, so you couldn't pack in the shampoo bars. Thanks in advance!
- Yes, this is sturdy silicone that allows you to tightly pack shampoo bars without bowing.
- Will soap made in the "Round Basic Silicone Mold 1602" mold fit into these bags or should I get 6x6 instead?
- We would recommend using the 6 × 6 shrink wrap bag on a soap bar from Mold 1602. The 4 × 6 shrink wrap bag is a bit tight on bar and may rip.
