Measure your desired amount of base into a bowl. Add 1–3% fragrance (up to 0.48 oz or 1 tbsp per pound) and mix thoroughly. Add colorant or mica if desired. Lightly mist with witch hazel and mix. Squeeze a handful—if it holds its shape, it's ready. Don’t over-spray or it may fizz prematurely. Press firmly into molds. The denser the pack, the longer it will fizz. Let sit at least 1 hour. Carefully unmold by turning upside down close to a flat surface. Let dry overnight, then wrap airtight to protect from humidity.

Can I use this to make a "bath fizzy powder" to put in sealed pouches? If so, how much fragrance and/or essential oils could I add to your 1 lb. bag?: Yes, add 2% of Essential Oil or Fragrance oil, always check the IFRA guidelines. Spritz with alcohol and lay on sheet pan to dry, crumble and package.
Can you please put in a recipe for bath bombs. There is very vague instructions on this. It would be nice to have a reference. I've had a bag of this sitting on the shelf for too long now. Ex: amount of raw fizz , amount of butter/oil, how many large bath bombs? If making just the fizzles, not bathbomb.. what do we add if anything besides fragrance? Do I need to add polysorbate 80 to this mix?: If the base is used plain with no added color or oils you do not need Polysorbate 80.
Do all the ingredients come mixed together in a single base or do they come separately and you have to mix them yourself?: The ingredients are pre-mixed.
