"I tried this recipe twice. Both weighing the measurements and also by a beaker. Both times the detangler spray made my daughters hair feel straw like once dried and had that feeling of a lot of product in the hair even though I sprayed only enough to help detangle a few knots. I'm not sure what went wrong but it did not leave my girls hair feeling silky soft or smooth. Their hair was left feeling like an over processed wig. Once it was washed out their hair felt wonderful again but unfortunately this left me with product unable to be used and lots of wasted expensive material."

In the ingredients Glycerin is listed but I do not see in recipe. Am I missing it somewhere?: Glycerin can be found in the Bamboo Extract - Water Soluble.
What is the shelf life of this product?: We recommend 1 year after making. After that, you can test the product to see if it looks, smells & performs the same.
Can I use this kit on African black natural hair: This is okay to use on most hair types, but you can look into each individual ingredient used and research to be sure if you'd like.

Can this product be used to de tangle dogs hair?If not, do have a product that can be safe to use on dogs hair?: You would have to test this on your own, we do not have experience with this type of product.
