"Amazing! I enjoyed making this lotion from scratch and the smell is just amazing! I hated that the recipe called for the entire 2 ounces of Caramel Woods Fragrance Oil - but I quickly ordered another and I feel the scent is going to be a great addition to my fall / winter soap line! "As the product states, this lotion is made from scratch. I made sure I had sufficient time with no interruptions because it takes a lot of ingredients, but oh, it was so worth it. Q&A

I made this lotion and at first it was great! After sitting a while it got really thick. In fact it is too thick to easily squeeze out of the bottle. Is there something I can add to it to make it thinner?: It could be the Oatmeal Colloidal making it thick. We will have to test this recipe to see if adjustment need to be made.
Can Preservative - Water Soluble PF be used in this recipe rather than Preservative - Sorbic Acid +2 PF? If so, would the same amount be used? I bought Water Soluble PF by mistake and hate for it to go to waste. Thanks in advance!: You can substitute the Water Soluble PF instead. This is used at a rate of 0.1 to 0.5% by weight.
Being a beekeeper can I add some beeswax and raw honey ( say 1oz of each ) into the mix along with another fragrance I bought from you? How much can I add of each and be safe. What if anything what it would do to the consistency? Thank you: This is something you will have to test. We would recommend replacing some of the ewax with the beeswax. Honey can be added to the water phase, but additional preservative would be required.
Can I add the oatmeal to the water before adding my butters and oils to make sure it's incorporated correctly?: This is something you will have to test.
Can extracts fruit extracts or just any extracts in general be added to this formula?: Any of our water soluble extracts can be added to this, but depending on how much you add you may need to adjust the recipe.
