Directions

Place the disc on rim of your container. The rim must be dry. Tightly apply your top. Leave in place for a minimum of 30 minutes. The adhesive will release and the disc will remain attached to the rim.

"I use these seal liners as an extra measure to protect my emulsified sugar scrubs, lip scrubs and lotions. I also shrink band them. The only issue I have with these, and it may even be user error, is that once I put the liner on the jar opening, put the lid on and twist (as per instructions), after the 30 minute wait time, they seem to leave a red ink streak (from the safety seal printing on the seal) inside the lid from the twisting. I do proper sanitation on all my packaging, but I do wait for the alcohol to be totally dry on the lid before I twist the lid on to activate the seal. Just a tiny thing I noticed and it wipes right out with an alcohol dampened paper towel."

Q&A

Will these work for a 8 oz boston bottle?: You would need to check the closure size requirement. Typically, 8 oz Boston Round bottles need a 24/410 closure which would work with a 24mm press & seal liner. The 38mm liner will not work unless the closure requirement is 38/400.
How do i use these? Can i press them by hand or does it need heat?: Before using, make sure the rim your container is clean and dry. Push the Press & Seal liner into the cap print side first so the white side is showing. When you place the cap on your container, the liner will adhere to the rim placing a seal on the product. Heat is not needed. If you have any further questions, please contact customer service at 1-800-359-0944.
what is the difference between this and the non Aluminum Liner other than the price? Thank you.: If you find your product dissolves the regular paper press & seal liner, we offer the aluminum ones which we find works better. You do, of course, need to test your product for compatibility with either liner.
Does it prevent the oil leaking?: If you have a very oily product, it may not completely prevent leaking. You might also try a shrink wrap band along with the liner for additional security. Testing your product is always recommended.
